Today started with a hassle-free flight to Thunder Bay, followed by a few hours at the Valhalla Inn getting to know sooner if my fellow riders.
Watching the crew unload the bikes, it was clear that Dolores was one of the heaviest, if not heaviest ride of the group. I was planning on bringing tools and extra clothes with me me in my handlebar bag, but I've been convinced I can forgo those items since the support vehicles will be in close vicinity at all times. I want to make sure I'm not slowing down the group so I'll try to keep the weight to a minimum.
Tomorrow we're riding out to Thunder Bay City Hall for the United Way kickoff at 9am, so I'll need to have everything set-up and ready to go by 8:30. Tomorrow's ride is scheduled for 113kms to Nipigon. This will be my last night of sleep in a comfy bed for the next ten days.
