It's only four days until I join the B4UW team in Thunder Bay and start riding back to Toronto. The team has taken care of all the logistics and planning, I just need to show up and start riding. Sounds easy, right?
As usual, I didn't specifically train for this trip. Aside from a couple of 35 and 45 km rides to make sure Dolores (my bike) is running smoothly, I've been relying on cross-training to prepare. Specifically, weight training and running.
I feel rested and ready to go. I've packed all my gear and set up my bike for the team to pick up tomorrow morning and transport to Thunder Bay for me. All I need to do is walk down to Porter airport on Thursday and mentally prepare for the grind ahead. Next post will be from Thunder Bay. Wish me luck!
